Live and Local- a new initiative promoting live and original music by local people

Live and Local is a new initiative  driven by volunteer local music enthusiasts including founder member; Ben Kitching and current active members; Lee Bailey, Hayley Mckay and Lance Nixon. By working in collaboration and with support from the team and facilities at the Forum Music Centre, the aim is to give bands a platform to showcase their music and to encourage people to support live and original music.

Live and Local gigs are held monthly on a Thursday night and ALL door proceeds are shared equally between the the bands. The Live and Local team also host regular meetings with musicians and performers to actively seek their input in helping to develop the original music scene at our grassroots venue.  If you would like to be involved please contact us.
