Mix Wave is back and ready to celebrate IVW bigger and better than before with 5 incredible acts.

Headliners, The Harbours, hit the stage fresh off the back of a sold out UK Tour celebrating their debut EP Are We Nearly There Yet?. The Leicestershire indie rock band are most known for their hit tracks So Sweet, Out of Sight & Forgive and Forget packed with relatable, youthful lyrics and upbeat sounds.

Our Special Guests, Et Al ,join the lineup with guitar-fuelled bangers from Fat Kid to Lotus. The trio’s loud, busy and riff driven rock has quickly earned them up and coming slots at festivals including Sound City in the early summer of 2026. On the back of a sold out headline homecoming show and supporting slots the likes of M60, the trio continue to deliver upbeat, guitar driven rock.

The third band of the bill, Leazes, burst onto the scene with their high energy shows and anthemic songwriting, earning major main stage slots at Hardwick Festival & Come Together Festival last summer. With a spring 2026 tour supporting ‘The Rosadocs’ on the horizon, the band continue to shape the sound of the North East, bringing their signature style and electric energy wherever they go.

Returning to Mix Wave following their crowd-rousing live set in the summer are The Avelons. Having quickly established themselves as one of the most exciting emerging indie rock bands. The Geordie quartet have drawn praise from BBC Introducing, Radio X, CLOUT & This Feeling for their infectious melodies laced with a classy touch of Northern charm. With hits like Blondie & Follow, this band truly has it all.

Local indie-rock talent Jim Soler is set to open the line up with an intimate acoustic set, featuring both released and unreleased from his catalog. Following the release of his debut single Validation Junkie in early spring of 2025, Jim has refined his style within his follow up single Running, creating a crisp, recognisable tone that’s not to be missed.
