Live and Local is a monthly gig night showcasing and celebrating North East artists and bands of all ages. 

Suspirium: Suspirium is an all original 4 piece alternative rock band from Darlington, featuring Davey Cuthbert on lead guitar and vocals, Jonty Ledbetter on saxophone, Gabriel Dye on bass guitar, and Isaac Timmins on drums. Currently, we are promoting our eponymous debut EP in which our signature sound is on full display, with grungy guitar work, psychedelic vocals and soaring sax combined with the pulsating drive of our rhythm section. During an interview on The Red Radio, one of the presenters said “This is special, we get to see so many local bands and you have a real unique difference.”

Zeta Point: Formed in 2024 by Jacob Elliott, Zeta Point are an experimental electronic power-pop act from County Durham, seamlessly combining aspects from darkwave, dreampop and trip-hop.

Pretentious: Pretentious are an alternative rock band inspired by the likes of Pixies, Weezer, Green Day and others. Our sound brings alternative rock instrumentals, and riff changes, with the vocals focused on melodies and harmonies. Our music has a nostalgic/pop undertone.
