Live and Local is a monthly gig night showcasing and celebrating North East artists and bands of all ages. 

The Casbahs: A five-piece guitar-driven indie rock band from the Durham, carrying the spirit of Britain’s great guitar bands from the 80s, 90s and 00s into the present day. With jangly riffs, soaring choruses, walls of noise and unapologetically big solos, their sound is both nostalgic and fresh — unmistakably British, with a classic edge.

Glass: GLASS carve out a sharp, atmospheric strain of indie rock driven by urgent rhythms, bright melodic hooks and a confident, youthful edge. Their sound carries a raw warmth – gritty yet tightly focused, balancing atmospheric moments with bursts of rhythmic punch. There’s an undercurrent of restlessness in their music, a sense of forward motion that turns intimate rooms into charged spaces, giving their songs both emotional clarity and electrifying momentum.

New Wave: Four piece funk/punk group playing a range of covers from bands such as Red Hot Chilli Peppers , The Ramones, Sex Pistols, Green Day as well as original material.
