Stockton based music artist Andrew Johnson has put together his first ever full band shows of original solo songs. 

Hardly a slacker in the output department he has written, recorded and released over 20 albums under his own name since 2003 (40+ if you include other guises).

Drawing on a wide range of influences Andrew will be focussing, at these shows at least, on the “greatest hits that never were” plus big tunes from last year’s acclaimed Exercise In Style album and a little taste of what’s next too.

“I’ve amassed a killer set of songs along the way and thought it was time to give them an airing in their fullest glory. I’m writing my best stuff right now too so it’s a chance to present that with a big sound”

Having carved out a solid reputation as an energetic, soulful and captivating frontman in The Southmartins the crowd can expect more of the same here too. For fans of The Beatles, Elliot Smith, Squeeze and  other melodic indie-rock these are unmissable shows and, who knows, perhaps the only chance to hear these songs at full force.
