A welcome return to Darlington for The Sensational Alex Harvey Experience. Since forming 10 years ago as a ‘Sensational’ tribute to Scotland’s finest, one-of-a-kind rock sons and his band, the Sensational Alex Harvey Experience (SAHE) have grown to become one of the most respected tribute bands on the circuit. Furthermore, they are described as “the best SAHB tribute band out there”, by Zal Cleminson himself. 2025 is therefore an anniversary for the band which coincides with the 50 year anniversary of the release of the legendary SAHB ‘Live’ album.

SAHE will play all songs from the album as part of their 2025 set. That they also have the nod from kin of the late, great and sadly missed Alex Harvey (“My dad would have approved” -Alex Harvey Jr.) is another pointer to the combined talents of vocalist Andy Massie, keyboardist David Cowan, guitarist Rob Jones, bass player Nelson McFarlane and drummer Chris Killen. (Cowan and McFarlane also recorded and toured as members of Zal Cleminson’s /Sin Dogs/). The original SAHB bass player (Chris Glen) has also shared the stage with SAHE and said “they are the best SAHB since SAHB!”
