Mississippi MacDonald is a 2x UK Blues Award winner whose last three albums each achieved IBBA no.1s.
He has scored no.1s on RMR Soul-Blues and UK album charts and a top ten Mojo best blues albums of the year.
He has collaborated with Rev. Shawn Amos, Benny Turner (brother of, bassist with Freddie King), Vaneese Thomas (sister of Carla, daughter of Rufus).

In 2024 he joined the Take Me To The River All Stars alongside Eric Gales and William Bell and recorded with Hi Rhythm (Al Green, OV Wright) at Royal Studios Memphis with Grammy winning producer Boo Mitchell.
