We’re not allowed to say much about our headline act for January as they’re popping in to close the show as they take a break from their mammoth UK tour. What we will say is that they’re one of the funniest acts and most engaging performers that have performed for Hilarity Bites over the years, and they always leave audiences wanting more.
Don’t miss out on this one, as it’s a rare return to The Forum for this act, and it’s going to be a great way to kick-off the New Year.
▪️ Becky Umbers
A small girl that gets big laughs, Becky Umbers is a multi-award winning comedian from New Zealand. With a unique take on life, and the voice to match, Becky won Best Debut at the 2019 New Zealand International Comedy Festival and was nominated for Best Female Comedian NZ 2022 at the NZ Comedy Guild Awards.

▪️ Sam Serranov
Sam Serrano is a gender fluid, dyspraxic comedian who has been taking the circuit by storm. A regular in clubs across the UK, Sam’s unique trademark style is dark and self-deprecating in equal measure and has seen them become a favourite with bookers.

▪️ Danny Deegan
Danny Deegan is a comedian, writer and actor who began performing in 2003 and has since risen steadily through the ranks of some of the most prestigious comedy clubs in the UK. His tales of mischief and the characters he creates have kept audiences all over the country enthralled as he weaves in and out of the people he has met travelling. His talent and likability coupled with a confident swagger see him as one of the most popular acts in the North.
