We’re delighted to announce that we are looking for someone to join our team as an Events Assistant Apprentice. If you have a passion for music and are looking for a way into the Events and Live Music industry then we have a fantastic opportunity for you to join The Forum through this apprenticeship scheme.
Duties will include:
- Assisting the events team with a high number of events, ranging from small meetings to live music events
- Coordinate with stakeholders during event planning
- Promoting events across all social media platforms
- Supporting the events manager with logistical and administrative support
- Manage event set up, tear down and follow-ups
- Establish standardised event procedures and to support stakeholders to properly execute them
- Build and adhere to an event budget
- Track event key performance areas and identify items to work on for future events
- Maintaining records of all bookings e.g. venue and taking payments where necessary
- Assisting with creative decisions
- Attending all meetings to act as a second point of contact
- Ad-hoc duties at events including, but not limited to, guest list management, showing guests to tables and taking coats
- Helping set up and dismantle events efficiently through to completion
- Assist in bar serving and venue cleaning and maintenance
