Our live performance venue has the capacity to seat 120 people with a maximum standing capacity of 200. Since opening in May 2004 The Forum’s stage has played host to may fantastic acts covering all styles of music including rock, reggae, jazz, funk, opera, comedy and more.

The Forum Music Centre has 4 fully equipped band rehearsal rooms to hire.
All the rooms have all the equipment you need for bands to rehearse.
We pride ourselves in keeping all our equipment in good working order ready to use straight away.
Everything in the room is included in the price so no hidden extra’s.
£7 per hour Tuesday – Friday / 9am – 4pm
Studio 1 live room can comfortably accommodate several musicians at any one time and incorporates a separate isolation booth with full visibility ideal for drummers and other acoustic separation requirements. The control room in Studio 1 has recently been upgraded to incorporate an Apple iMac system running Pro Tools 10 through a Focusrite Liquid Saffire 56 interface providing a fully digital and state of the art studio facility capable of satisfying sound and audio engineers of every discipline.
The recording studio is also fully integrated to the main hall for providing a larger space to record orchestras or choirs for example.
The Recording Studio costs £25 per hour to hire, including our studio engineer.
Please bare in mind that time for mixing and mastering needs to be taken into account while booking. Please contact us for further information.

(9am – 5pm, Monday – Friday)
The Mac Education Suite is primarily used by the Access To Music College as their lecture room and ICT facility. It features state of the art Apple iMac computers all loaded with music education software and all have internet access.

Rehearsal Room Booking Information
All our rooms cost £9 per hour to hire, this includes;
– PA System
– 5 Piece Drum Kit
– 2x Guitar Amps
– 1x Bass Amp
We also have two Yamaha keyboards available but please let us know if one of these is required at the time of booking so we can accommodate.
Microphones, Leads and Drum Clutch/Felts are available from reception, a deposit it required which will be returned when they are brought back to reception.
– Please report to reception when you arrive for your rehearsal.
– The Forum may move your bookings between rooms, we will try our best not to move bands to smaller rooms from larger rooms.
– Please pack up and leave the room promptly in time for the next booking.

Rehearsal Room Booking Cancellation Policy
We require 48 hours notice for cancellations otherwise we require the room to be paid for in full and you will no longer be able to book a room until the outstanding balance is cleared.
Recording Studio Booking Information
The Recording Studio costs £25 and includes our Studio Engineer for your session. Before booking the recording studio, please be well rehearsed in what you are wanting to record in order to make effective use of the time.
Please be aware that time for mixing and mastering is required on top of the recording time.
