Darlington RnB Club presents: The Revolutionaires w/ DC Blues
Primarily, the band are influenced by 1940’s and 1950’s R&B. In particular, Louis Jordan, Big Joe Turner, Little Richard, Chuck Berry and Roy Brown. However, they have adopted a harder and more aggressive approach, synonymous with modern blues artists such as Stevie Ray Vaughan, Duke Robillard, Jools Holland and Mike Henderson which helps create their own high energy sound.
Over the last decade The Revolutionaires have established themselves on the UK and European Rockin’ circuit, as well as the Blues scene.
w/Support DC Blues: DC Blues have released 2 albums, both of which made the Top 40 in the IBBA Chart (Independant Blues Broadcasters Association) with national & international airplay on countless radio stations. They have also shared the stage with King King, Dr Feelgood, The Cinelli Brothers, Marcus Bonfanti, Dom Martin, The Milk Men, The Achievers, Sari Schorr and many more. They are now looking to further build their reputation as a hard hitting, entertaining band at major festivals throughout the UK.
