SUMMARY:Amphitrio (Contemporary Jazz Trio)
DESCRIPTION:Amphitrio is a contemporary jazz trio from Bucharest\, Romania\, formed in 2023 by pianist and composer Andrei Petrache\, bassist Mike Alex\, and percussionist Philip Goron – three musicians whose artistic paths merge classical precision\, modern jazz sensibility\, and alternative experimentation. The project’s essence lies in friendship\, improvisation\, and a shared search for freedom in sound. Each member brings a distinct creative language shaped by years of performing across genres—from classical and orchestral contexts to experimental jazz\, world music\, and electronic fusion. \nWith three albums\, international touring\, and multiple cross-genre collaborations\, Amphitrio stands as one of the most distinctive voices in Eastern European jazz\, a trio that bridges geography\, culture\, and emotion. SUMMARY:Grand Slam with Floods Of Spin
DESCRIPTION:Back in the post-Lizzy days\, guitarist Laurence Archer wrote and performed with Phil Lynott. Grand Slam was cut short in it’s prime\, leaving a hole in the fabric of rock music. Laurence has nurtured a long-term plan to rebuild the Grand Slam machine\, and here it is\, blue printed and ready to race. This new band (Laurence along with compadres Mike Dyer –Tokyo\, Benjy Reid – Praying Mantis\, Debbie Bonham  and Rocky Newton – Lionheart\, McAuley Schenker Group)\, honours the traditions of rock and Laurence’s song writing dynasty\, but also looks to the future – the classic tracks sit alongside a set of brand spanking new rock anthems that embody the same ethos of freedom\, positivity and adrenalin that ran through Grand Slam in 1984.\n\nWith this pedigree\, it is no surprise that this band is a live monster\, ready and raring to ransack stages around the world.\nFollowing the success of their critically acclaimed album Hit the Ground\, Grand Slam will be performing tracks from the album alongside brand-new material from their forthcoming release. Don’t miss the chance to see them live at The Forum before they head out on tour with Magnum this autumn.\n\nWe are also pleased to introduce our special guests\, Floods Of Spin. Drawing inspiration from both classic and modern rock heavyweights\, Floods Of Spin are a hard rock trio that combine vintage rock power with lyrics firmly rooted in today’s world. Their debut single\, Weapons Of Mass Distraction\, released on 12 June 2026\, has already received international airplay and has been featured on Kerrang! Radio Unleashed and BBC Introducing. The band are now looking forward to making their live debut at The Forum\, where they will perform tracks from their forthcoming debut album\, showcasing their signature blend of powerful riffs\, driving rhythms\, and thought-provoking songwriting. Be there to witness the start of what promises to be an exciting journey.\n\n\n\n\n\nTickets £20.00 adv|£22.00 otd\nDoors From: 7:00PM\nShow Starts: 7:30PM (Approximately)\n16+ (Under 18’s must be accompanied by an adult)\nStanding Event\nBefore attending please read our Covid-19 Disclaimer and check out our Venue Info Page\n\n\nHow To Buy Your Ticket \n\nBuy Online\, using the box below\nVisit The Forum Reception \nPlease note our reception is not manned during at busy events\, please see our Opening Hours & Venue Info for more info.\nA non-refundable 50p booking fee is added to each ticket when buying online. On the door ticket sales are subject to availability and not guaranteed.\n\n

SUMMARY:High Fade | Funk/Rock Trio
DESCRIPTION:Funk/Rock trio High Fade –consisting of founder Harry Valentino (Guitar\, Vocals)\, Oliver Sentence (Bass\, Mustache) and drummer Heath Campbell (Drums) has grown from Scotland’s most excited busking band into a household name across the world after bursting onto the scene with viral sensations such as “Burnt Toast & Coffee”\, “Gossip”\, “Burnin’”\, and an audacious cover of Herbie Hancock’s “Chameleon”. Sold out tours across the UK\, USA\, and Europe have seen the band get well over 1\,500 shows under their belt\, allowing High Fade to fast become one of the most ferocious touring bands on the planet. \nDelivering shows that are packed with raw energy and jaw-dropping musicianship\, they refuse to accept the limits of what a three-piece band can do.With sold out tours across the UK\, USA\, and Europe; and impactful slots at dozens of festivals like Boomtown (UK)\, Suwannee Hulaween (USA) and Glastonbury –where they performed three times in one day in 2024 –High Fade have come a long way from that street corner in Edinburgh. Drawing inspiration from funk\, rock\, disco\, jazz\, metal\, punk\, soul\, and beyond\, High Fade has developed a sound that explodes out of a rip-roaring melting point of musical influences and tears at the fabric of space time by managing to feel simultaneously fresh and retro. \nFirecly independent\, the band releases music via their own label RPN Records (“Rippin’ Records”)\, including their debut album\, Life’s Too Fast (2024)\, which charted in the UK\, Ireland\, Germany\, the Netherlands\, USA\, and Australia. Not bad for an independent DIY band operating entirely outside of the Major Label system. High Fade’s sophomore LP\, Twice As Nice\, due for release on RPN Records May 2026\, was recorded at two of the world’s most renowned studios\, East Iris Studios in Nashville and RAK Studios in London. The hotly anticipated new album arrives just in time for the band’s massive 50-date Twice As Nicetour that will bring the band to all corners of the USA and Canada this Spring and Summer. \nHighFademusic.live\nListen On Spotify \nSupport from The Aniseed Lounge \nBased in the North East music scene\, ‘The Aniseed Lounge’ brings a wide mix of genres together in an unforgettable performance.
