With plenty of things being lined up for the band and there next single being egearly anticipated by there ever growing fan base a headline show in there home town in one of there favourite venues is something that sing again syren are looking forward to.
If there is one band for you to check out in 2019 this is band.
Darlington’s DEAF FOREVER are a self-styled Alternative Noise band, when asked what that is the band state “we don’t want to be put in one box, we draw on so many influences its was just easier to make our own label/genre up, we have total freedom to write whatever sorta tune we want “. With that noted DEAF FOREVER manage to incorporate blues, slide guitar, a cigarbox guitar along with Grunge, Metal, rock, punk rock etc and playing guitar with an Allen key with grooves from Ben Kitching and Tucker that bring their own sound together.
The band have been around and gigging for a couple of years and have a released one E.P on Nil By Mouth Records. Having gone through a line up change in 2018 DEAF FOREVER concentrated more on writing which has led them back into the studio with Steve Hoggart at the helm at 27D Music Productions and are due to release the first single “price tag” from there 7 track release “frozen rope”
Lost Rockers have been about for a while now but went on a hiatus after many years gigging around the north east. After some time away the decided the time was right to reconvene and after a few auditions they settled on a line up and began the process of writing and recording some brand new material which is due out later on this year. There brand of punk rock is sure to bring something different and fun to the night and will be a great opportunity to check out some of the bands new tunes.
From the steel city Vida Wasteman have been on tear over the last 2 years. Having played at the O2 Academy in Sheffield as well as all over the country they have developed a reputation for putting on a great live show and there singles have been very well received by the music press. With in interesting sound that combines the likes Faith No More and the Red Hot Chili Peppers with Oasis and The Stone Roses Vida Wasteman are definitely a band to come and check out.
