DESCRIPTION:Our monthly comedy night from Hilarity Bites Comedy Club with live standup comedians Brennan Reece\, Louise Leigh\, El Purnell\, and host Dave Twentyman \n\n▪️ Brennan Reece\n \nBest Newcomer (nominee)\, Edinburgh Comedy Festival 2016\nEnglish Comedian of the Year 2015\nBest Show (nominee)\, Fringe World Australia \nAs seen on Live At The Apollo (BBC)\, Celeb Coach Trip (E4)\, and Roast Battle (Comedy Central)\, and supporting Joe Lycett on his 2022 UK Arena tour. \nBrennan is a multi award winning working class wordsmith (Edinburgh Best Newcomer Nominee and English Comedian Of The Year Winner). A stand-up\, a storyteller\, and self confessed mummy’s boy\, his boyish cheeks recently cropped up on Survival Of The Fittest (ITV)\, The Stand Up Sketch Show (ITV) Live At The Comedy Store (Comedy Central) and racking up over 6 million YouTube hits for his stint on Top Gear (BBC). \n“A powerfully entertaining\, unstoppable force” – Chortle\n“A teenage Alan Bennett” – The Skinny \n\n▪️ Louise Leigh \nAt the age of 37\, Louise realised she’d never ride through Paris in a sports car with the warm wind in her hair. So she waited another 5 or 6 years and took up stand up comedy instead. \nSince then\, Louise has performed two well-received runs at the Edinburgh Fringe and is working for some of the biggest comedy clubs in the UK. \n“A naturally funny woman” – ★★★★ – Chortle \n\n▪️ El Purnell \nEl Purnell is a unique whirlwind of a crowd-pleasing comedy act. His energy and gags per minute are off the scale delivering many belly laughs and so much fun for the audience. He has a unique and clever spin delivering his set in Spanish with a springle of English. Audiences LOVE the interaction\, jokes\, and actual realisation they can understand him without speaking his mother tongue. \n“That was staggeringly original” – Adam Bloom \n\n▪️ David Twentyman \nAffable\, quick-witted banter merchant\, Dave Twentyman survived a childhood in St Helens by evolving rapid\, startlingly-bright patter and a smile that he somehow stole from Barry Manilow.
