Young Blood: Music Creators, Promoters and Live Gigs
Young people have an important role to play in the creative and cultural development of music. Their evolving tastes contribute to the constant evolution of the music industry pushing artists and labels to explore new sounds and styles.
The Forum Music Studios has designed this ground-breaking three-part, interconnected programme specifically to ensure our young people have access and opportunities to engage and invest in the development of the live music sector
Whether it be creating new music, developing enterprising skills in the music industry, or just simply enjoying live music from up-and-coming bands with friends, Young Blood aims to create a safe and social space for our youth to experience the power and positivity of music.
Arts Council England has recognised the need and quality of the Young Blood project and has recently awarded funding to support the success of this project
- Young Blood: Creators – Weekly after school music sessions for 13 to 17 year olds
- Young Blood: Promoters – Empowering young people, 16 – 24 year olds, to organise live music gigs.
- Young Blood: Live – Monthly gig nights for 13 – 17 year olds organised by the YB Promoters
We still have some places available for both Young Blood Creators and Young Blood Promoters. For more information about joining please head over to our dedicated Young Blood Page
